Tipsy Tuesday: Gin Fizz w/ Orange Syrup

Fabric Paper Glue | Gin Fizz with Orange Syrup
This week, I'm sharing for different recipes for flavored simple syrups and one delicious cocktail to go with each. Today's is a gin fizz with orange syrup. Gin fizzes are my absolute fave. They're light and smooth and, with the egg white, borderline creamy. So good! Read on for the recipes and more photos.

To make the simple syrup, combine 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup sugar, and the peel (but not pith) of one orange in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Stir frequently until the sugar has dissolved. Allow to cool. Strain out the orange peel. Store in the fridge for up to one month.

Ingredients:
1.5 oz Gin
juice of 1/2 Lime
juice of 1/2 Lemon
1 Egg White
2 tbsp Orange Syrup

Directions: Shake ingredients together in a shaker with ice. Shake hard for a solid minute or more. Strain into a chimney glass. Top with Club Soda. Garnish with Orange Peel.
