Holiday Ornament Swap - The Loot - Part 2

Three more ornaments have rolled in this week so far as part of the Holiday Ornament Swap that I'm participating in!

All nice little additions to our tree, if I do say so.

After discussing our holiday decorations last week, I realized just how underwhelming they are.  I'm not going to claim that we've pulled ourselves out of that status since last week, but I've made some tweaks.

We all know that I love a good trend, and I'm not sure there's a Christmas trend more omnipresent than the hurricane-full-of-ornaments trend.  Well, you can count us in!

This weekend, I took advantage of the sales going on at Michael's and Joann.  All for about $15, I picked up 3 vases of varying heights and a few packages of blue, turquoise, and silver ornaments.

I threw the ornaments in the vase, and about two minutes later, we were officially on the bandwagon.

There were some ornaments leftover, so I threw them on the tree, and I'm thinking that the bigger turquoise ornaments actually make the tree look better than it did before.

Slightly better, no?
