Try This: Customized Teacup Succulent Centerpiece w Table Number

Graphic

I'm gearing up for my good friend Rebecca's wedding next weekend, so I'm here with a little wedding project.  This little teacup succulent with matching table number could be a cute centerpiece for a wedding, and the good thing about this project is that its an easy way to integrate whatever colors you want.  And it's probably more efficient to make these in multiples rather than just one at a time.

Materials: Teacup, Miniature Succulent, Acrylic Paint, Paint Brush, Skewers, Wooden Disks, Sealer Glue, Craft Glue, Foam Brush, Printer Paper, Printer

Notes about Materials: Check your local thrift stores for super cheap, super adorable teacups.  I found this succulent at the hardware store.  You can buy a whole bag of these little wooden disks for a few bucks from the kid's craft section (with the popsicle sticks) of the craft store.

Directions:  Take a quick swipe around the edge of the teacup with your paint.  Don't overthink it.  Just do it. If you're not getting married anytime soon, you can pretty much stop right here and skip to the bottom.

For the table number, paint the skewer and disks.

Sidenote about table numbers:  Did you know assigned seating is not a big thing in the South?  It's just not something very common. I'd argue it takes some headache out of the process, but I feel conflicted too because table numbers are a really fun way to customize decorations.  We have groom's cakes instead, I guess (which I'm told is mostly a Southern thing).

Print and cut out a couple of numbers per table using colored paper of your choice and your favorite font.

If there's no wedding in your near future, just don't make the table number and stick this little gem in your window, as I did.
