I've alluded to it before, but I am a pretty prolific shopper. I have an interest in all sorts of consumer goods, and I love a good trend. Michael has told me to replace "trendy" with "passing fad" to help me control my consumerism. My response: "Life is too short not to jump on bandwagons." So, yeah, that's not going to work, but I'm considering that perhaps a round-up every now and then of things I want but don't need might be cathartic.

ReplyDeleteWell, part of the beauty of getting new stuff is showing it off to all your friends and having them say, "oooh, how cute! where'd you get that?" This is sort of the same thing, right? Of course, it might be detrimental to my friends. :)
