This week, we're embroidering a whole bunch of shit. We've already whipped up an embroidered pin board and an embroidered tote bag. Today's project is a super simple project to help wrangle all those pretty baubles.
Read on for the how-to.
MATERIALS: Muslin Drawstring Bag, Embroidery Thread, Embroidery Needle, Water-Soluble Marking Pen
ONE: Sketch the outlines of a diamond (or other gem) illustration as shown. Unfortunately I can't seem to find the source anywhere, but this amazing illustration has loads of inspiration for gems worthy of a little embroidery.
TWO: Back stitch to trace over your markings. For a great how-to, visit Sublime Stitching.
Now fill 'er up with all your little gems, and toss it in your suitcase.
