Easy DIY Gift | Monogrammed Bottle Opener

Fabric Paper Glue | DIY Monogrammed Leather Bottle Opener

In keeping with the gifts for him theme (but ignoring my own criticism of beer-themed gifts), I've got an easy monogrammed bottle opener project. It's obviously not an elaborate gift, but it's just enough to show that you care enough to add a personal touch. Pair it with a 6-pack of good beer or a nice set of beer glasses, and you're good to go! Read on for the step-by-step.

Materials: a strip of tooling leather approximately 3/4" wide by 6" long, leather stamp kit, rubber mallet, hole punch, medium jump ring, simple bottle opener

Punch a small hole in the center of each end of the piece of leather.

Dampen one end of the leather with a wet cloth. As the leather begins to return to its original color, stamp your man's initials using the stamp kit and a rubber mallet.

Fold the strip in half, and attach to the bottle opener using a medium metal jump ring.

  1. I totally feel you in regards to beer themed gifts, but my boy loves them! I'll have to try this project out for sure.
