Ginger-Lime Sorbet

Ingredients
1 tbsp fresh grated Ginger
Zest of 1 Lime
Juice of 1 Lime
2 cups Water
3/4 cup Sugar
2 tbsp Domaine de Canton Ginger Liqueur*

Directions
Peel ginger with a vegetable peeler and grate over saucepan.  Add lime zest, lime juice, water, and sugar.
Stirring frequently, bring to a boil over medium-high heat.  Allow to boil for 10 minutes.
Chill until cool.
Add ginger liqueur.
Freeze in ice cream maker according to directions.

*Not only does the liqueur add a delicious but subtle flavor, a little alcohol in the sorbet ensures a slushier texture that won't freeze into an unmanageable block of ice.
